Privacy Statement

We do not sell, lease, or rent your personal details. We gather personal details only when you offer it to us when placing an order or submitting a question, and we use these details only when necessary, responding to your question, dispatching product, or to contact you about your current order. We will not send you unsolicited email. All updates and notifications are posted on our Facebook page.

Safe shopping on the Internet

When shopping on the Internet your concerns are the same as in the real world, you often give your credit card to cashiers and waiters, or you give out your credit card account number to dealers when placing an order over the phone. Using your credit card number on the Internet is no more risky than these practices. In fact it is totally secure to supply your account number over the Internet, provided these websites work with your browser software to securely encode your transaction.

Colour Substitutions

If you specify a colour that is not in stock when we receive your order, you will receive an email or phone call giving you the choice of selecting a different colour or cancelling your order.

Backorders

Any item not in stock at the time your order is received will not be backordered. You will receive a phone call or an email giving you the choice of cancelling the order, or accepting only the products available. Once we have confirmed your choice, all available items required will be shipped immediately, or a refund of the purchase price will be immediately processed.

Shipping Charges

1. International customers - We include an automatically applied freight charge when you checkout with PayPal. These freight charges are displayed prior to committing to the purchase, and you can either select to proceed with you order, or to cancel your order without incurring any charges.
2. Australian customers – Add 10% Goods and Services Tax to the item price, postage is FREE within Australia.

Price and availability is subject to change without notice. You will of course be provided current prices at the time you place your order.

Method of Payment

An option to process transactions is offered through B-PAY. Signing up for a PayPal account is optional. You will be automatically directed to PayPal and prompted to log in to an existing PayPal account or;

If you want to pay with your credit card without signing up to PayPal, you should click on “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”. You are then presented with a form that requires the information about your credit or debit card. Depending on your country, you may also be asked to enter your address, email address, or phone number. To continue after entering all the information necessary, simply click on “Pay now” at the bottom of the form.

You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express to make PayPal payments, and note that PayPal’s fraud prevention measures remain in effect for buyers who use this checkout. PayPal applies the same techniques for this checkout as it does for other transactions.

Product Returns

If an item does not meet your expectations once you receive your order, no problem! It may be returned for credit, exchange, or refund, subject to the following conditions:

1. The item must be returned within 30 days.
2. The item must be clean, unused and otherwise in the same condition as it was sent.
3. It must include all original tags, packaging, and instructions.
4. It must include a copy of the original itemized sales receipt.
5. Delivery costs to and from the purchaser are not refundable, unless goods received are found to be faulty, or the product has been substantially misrepresented in our advertising and/or our correspondence.

White Mountain™ do offer compensation for delivery costs incurred in returning products. We offer a compensatory 10% Discount Voucher for goods purchased and returned within Australia and a compensatory 20% Discount Voucher for goods purchased from outside Australia. The Discount Voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and is transferable. This policy is to ensure confidence in purchasing from White Mountain over the Internet and provide a pleasurable online trading experience.

White Mountain™ Life Time Guarantee

From the date of purchase, all White Mountain™ products come with a Lifetime Guarantee against material and manufacturing faults occurring during the useful life of the backpack. It is very difficult to measure the life of a product, at White Mountain™ we carefully select fabrics and components that will provide weather resistance and functionality after prolonged use. However, the life of a product will depend how much and in what conditions the product is used. Damages caused by fair wear and tear, abuse or misuse are not covered by this guarantee, and this particularly applies to zippers and backpack hardware. This does not limit the assistance or advice available in correcting any problem related to your White Mountain™ product.

White Mountain Backpacks™ Lifetime Warranty does not cover mildew damage and hydrolysis (delaminating) of materials.
