The material is 420D Rip-Stop nylon, and the webbing is nylon.
The reservoir is held within the backpack, with an elastic panel. This aids the flow of liquid when required.
The backpack has a frame sheet across the back that is made of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a flexible but strong plastic. We then vertically centre a single stave and cover in webbing stitched to the HDPE frame sheet. This HDPE frame sheet not only protects
the back, but by bending the entire HDPE frame sheet, we can contour the backpack to suit the individuals back.
The contoured Shoulder Straps, as with all the White Mountain™ Premium Daypacks, are longer than usual and allow the backpack to be positioned in the lower back.
A fully padded Hip Belt including 50mm webbing with a 50mm dual adjustable side release buckle is incorporated to provide maximum stability.
Attachment D-Rings and a Sternum Strap are added to the contoured Shoulder Straps for added stability and comfort.
The unique lower stabiliser straps, holds the backpack firmly in the small of the back.
The entire backpack is fully padded and insulated.
Includes a 3M™ reflective strip on front of the backpack.
This backpack has four Compression Straps, including the Lower Stabilizer Straps.
An internal zipped pocket is provide on the inside front panel.
A front zipped sleeve pocket on the Tumen, and a larger front pocket on the Yalu.
A mesh pocket and a retaining elastic cord, is provided on the front of the backpack.
Two mesh pockets are provided on either side of the backpack, and are compressed with the Lower Stabiliser Strap. A perfect provision for carrying extra water with maximum stability. Each pocket can carry at least a one litre container, that's nearly five litres
of liquid in Total.
The Yalu has two zipped sleeve pockets above each of mesh pockets, on either side of the backpack.
The Tumen has a haul loop, and the Yalu has a handle on top of the backpack.
Included with each hydration pack is a facility to fix the drinking hose in a variety of positions.
