The material is 950The material is 950D Kodra, one of the strongest and most durable synthetic products and a fabric often used on military backpacks for strength and abrasive resistance. The base of the of the Getaway is heavy duty ballistic nylon, for intensive abrasion resistance. All fabric for White Mountain™ Backpacks is manufactured by Kolon Int. in Korea, a highly reputable and leading world fabric manufacturer that produces high quality synthetic materials.

The Getaway also has a concealed harness, so that it can be used as either a shoulder bag or a backpack as required and is constructed as carry on airline luggage. The Getaway has internal compression straps with a removable organiser, a full wet proof pocket on the inside of the panel opening lid, great for storing laundry or the temporary storage of damp clothing, it has two webbing carry handles, one shoulder sling,  and three (3) external pockets.
